When designing buttons, it's aways hard to convey the intended animation to whoever will be developing the design. Even if I will be the one developing it, sometimes I will forget what I was thinking at the time of design. I find what helps more than taking notes, is to design a few states of what the button will do. Here is my take on a social share button, with 3 different steps of animation (when clicked).
